Why I delete you from Facebook.

People get so offended when I delete them from Facebook. The reality is, if you were at one point my friend or boyfriend I don't want to see your current life all over my news feed. It makes me sad or angry to not be a part of it. It makes me rehash whatever happened between us which sends me on a trip I am not interested in taking.

And now you can hide someone from your newsfeed, but the reality is when I get in those moods I cannot help but look at your page. I literally cannot control myself. And it does more damage than good.

So I delete you; to preserve my own happiness until you can no longer effect it.
